To deepen the connections & advance the careers of our alumni.
YOUR 2018 BOARD of DIRECTORS
I work at Intel as a manager of the Privacy Operations team in IT, where I provide leadership and management oversight for incident response, inquiry management, privacy risk assessments and process automation.
Beyond my career at Intel, I am very active with the Child Abuse Prevention Center (CAPC), where I serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
Most importantly, I am raising 2 beautiful sons in Roseville.
I graduated from the Intel 6 cohort in 2012. As your Chair, I am committed to leading our organization thru the next phase of growth, where we reach out and involve both recent graduates of our program, as well as the ones who graduated over the last decade. I look forward to seeing and connecting with many of you in the near future!
I work at Intel as a finance project manager in the sales and marketing organization. I have also worked in the treasury department managing M&A activities.
Beyond my career at Intel, I own and operate a real estate development & management company. I also sit on the board for the Hirani Family Foundation & Lead the Intel Veterans Organization.
Prior to my professional career, I served in the US ARMY. I completed 2 combat tours and was deployed with the 173rd.
I graduated from the VSP 2 cohort in 2013. As your Treasurer, I am committed to managing the OEMBA’s assets with the utmost care and leveraging resources to pull together phenomenal networking opportunities and events!
My cohort was VSP 2 and my experience was amazing. I have made lifelong friends and have an extensive network in the Sacramento area. The best part is reconnecting with classmates during OEMBA mixers. I've been on the board since late summer of 2013. I got involved after graduation and currently serve as secretary and back up the communications committee. I have been involved with federal procurement for over 7 years and currently work for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Construction and Facilities Management. I deal with a wide variety of procurement types such as supply, services, architect-engineering, master plans, and construction contracts. The VA has an incredible mission and I feel very proud to work for an organization that serves those who have given a great deal for our country.
I recently graduated with the Intel 9 cohort in August of 2015. The EMBA process was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life as it offered the opportunity to build lifelong friendships. Given my experience as a Senior Business Analyst with Sutter Health and completion of my Masters in Information Systems, I am prepared to serve on the OEMBA board by offering my assistance in web content development and technical opinion.
I serve on the OEMBA Board as an ambassador for the Executive MBA program to the community. I have spent my life as a pediatric emergency medicine physician; in 2013 I decided to further my understanding of the business of healthcare by going back to school. I choose Sac State because I found an international faculty and the opportunity to network offered right here in Sacramento.
I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how big business and finance affect Healthcare; I left as a different kind of leader with a new understanding of how the world really works. I consider myself part of Healthcare's changing face as I am dedicated to improving the health and wellness of people outside of the hospital doors. I graduated in 2015 with the SMUD 4 Cohort - the self-appointed Differentiators - and remain grateful for making the decision to risk the career I had before to find even deeper meaning and purpose to my work.
The Sac State EMBA program has had a profound effect on my life. I came into the program with the VSP 2 cohort and feel very fortunate to have gone through the program with the people I graduated with. The skills I have learned and the relationships forged from my time in the program, have given me confidence in my ability and have had a significant impact on my career. Ever since my graduation I have been trying to find ways to stay involved with such a great program. I was recently presented with the opportunity to be a member on the Alumni Board of the EMBA program and I did not hesitate to commit. I am currently working as the Cohort Liaison for the board, which is the perfect fit for me personally. I have always valued building relationships and this gives me the chance to provide value to the EMBA Program, while doing something that I love. I have background in sales optimization and operations, but my career has recently shifted in a different direction. I currently work as a Project and Sprint Manager for a company called POS Portal in Natomas. I could not be happier with the work I am doing. It is both challenging and exciting, while giving me the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
Hello! I’m a part of SMUD 1, the original SMUD cohort, and serve on the board planning events and writing for our OEMBA newsletter.
As a strategic planner and project manager in Sacramento County, I work in cross-system child and family services. In my current projects with the County’s Probation Department, I have coordinated a multi-agency planning process in order to implement services for both commercially sexually exploited children and dually-involved youth, and to help provide both groups with appropriate services and support.
Completing the Executive MBA program and serving on the OEMBA board has sharpened my skills and provided an amazing network of diverse professionals as well as some really wonderful friends. I especially enjoy connecting our network with the local start-up community. It feeds my inner entrepreneur and gives me the opportunity to facilitate cross-system work and spark creative ideas.
My goal as a board member is to keep you connected with events that are useful, engaging and fun. We board members love it when we can connect you with contacts, business partners and jobs. Please contact us when you want to celebrate a success or seek help in achieving success.
I had the extreme pleasure graduating in the SMUD 4 cohort with some of the most talented individuals I have had the pleasure of coming across. I am the Director of Education Channels for one of the largest global cybersecurity companies. I value diversity as I work every day with commercial partners and academic partners across 78 countries. My cohort was diverse in age, education, careers, gender, ambitions, and ethnicity - there was so much to learn and enjoy within the program curriculum and from my cohort who truly became an extension of family.
I worked two jobs during my MBA for Executives program while raising two daughters with my wonderful husband. There is nothing we cannot accomplish if we have a passion for learning.
I'm a proud member of the Sutter 1 cohort which graduated in 2016. I’m happy to be joining the board and hope to develop and broaden my connections within the OEMBA community. We are a very busy group of people, and I imagine that others find it as challenging as I do to stay linked and engaged with other alumni on a consistent basis. I’m interested in finding new ways to share knowledge and support others within the network.
I am the Sr. Advisor of Operations Compliance & Integration in the System Operations department for the California Independent System Operator. I’m on the PTO Board at Lakeview Elementary in El Dorado Hills in the Communications role - maintaining the PTO website, Facebook page, calendar and email blast communications.
